About
The Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund (MBCAHF) was created in Macon-Bibb in 2023 by like-minded leaders who recognize the need to foster more affordable housing in Macon-Bibb in light of increased scarcity, high demand and other market force challenges evident in today’s affordable housing market. The Fund is designed as a tool to be used along with other resources to address this critical need. The Fund Board is comprised of local officials, business leaders and other community partners who desire to deploy money to help affordable housing developers create more affordable housing in Macon-Bibb.
"The MBCAHF will help keep either rents or home ownership prices low so people can afford them, and it also will allow a lot of our teachers, our firefighters, our police and a lot of our public servants to afford homes in the areas they live and work in.”
Mayor Lester Miller
